Understanding YQBuddy's Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services booked through YQBuddy.

1. Cancellation by Requester

Requesters may cancel a request before a Buddy accepts it without penalty.

If a Requester cancels after a Buddy has accepted:

  • A cancellation fee may apply;
  • Partial refunds may be issued depending on how far the Buddy has progressed with the request.
2. Cancellation by Buddy

If a Buddy cancels after accepting a request:

  • The Requester may receive a full refund;
  • YQBuddy may assist in finding a replacement Buddy.

Repeated cancellations by Buddies may result in suspension.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered where:

  • The service was not provided;
  • A Buddy failed to arrive;
  • There was a verified technical or payment error.

Refunds are not guaranteed for:

  • Delays caused by external factors;
  • Changes made by the Requester;
  • Situations outside YQBuddy’s reasonable control.
4. Processing Time

Approved refunds may take:

  • 3–14 business days depending on the payment provider or bank.
5. Disputes

Users may report disputes through support@yqbuddy.com within 7 days of the service date.

YQBuddy reserves the right to investigate and make the final decision regarding refunds.

6. Fraud Prevention

Refund abuse, fraudulent claims, or chargeback abuse may result in:

  • Account suspension;
  • Permanent banning;
  • Legal action where necessary.
