Understanding YQBuddy's Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services booked through YQBuddy.
1. Cancellation by RequesterRequesters may cancel a request before a Buddy accepts it without penalty.
If a Requester cancels after a Buddy has accepted:
- A cancellation fee may apply;
- Partial refunds may be issued depending on how far the Buddy has progressed with the request.
If a Buddy cancels after accepting a request:
- The Requester may receive a full refund;
- YQBuddy may assist in finding a replacement Buddy.
Repeated cancellations by Buddies may result in suspension.
3. Refund EligibilityRefunds may be considered where:
- The service was not provided;
- A Buddy failed to arrive;
- There was a verified technical or payment error.
Refunds are not guaranteed for:
- Delays caused by external factors;
- Changes made by the Requester;
- Situations outside YQBuddy’s reasonable control.
Approved refunds may take:
- 3–14 business days depending on the payment provider or bank.
Users may report disputes through support@yqbuddy.com within 7 days of the service date.
YQBuddy reserves the right to investigate and make the final decision regarding refunds.
6. Fraud PreventionRefund abuse, fraudulent claims, or chargeback abuse may result in:
- Account suspension;
- Permanent banning;
- Legal action where necessary.
